Overview: Floatation is relaxing on a bed of salt water in a warm and calm atmosphere.
How it works: Floatation allows your body to be free from the forces of gravity. This allows every single muscle in the body to relax. The quiet and dark atmosphere allows your mind to enter the deepest state of relaxation possible which reduces activity in the logical side of the brain and increases activity in the creative side. This allows your brain to work in total harmony.
What to expect: The water is warmed to a temperature of 35.5 degrees centigrade and is usually around 25cm deep. You lie back and float. The tank is built to restrict all outside influences such as light and sound.
Known Contraindications: People suffering from clinical depression, epilepsy or schizophrenia are not advised to float.
