Overview: Auricular Acupuncture is where acupuncture points on the outer ear are stimulated using needles or electro-acupuncture to help relieve chronic complaints.

How it works: There are over 200 acupuncture points on the outer ear.  Each one is named for the part of the body it stimulates.  The outer ear acts like a switchboard to the brain, when acupuncture points are stimulated electrical impulses are sent to the area of the body corresponding to the points being stimulated.

What to expect: The therapist will use needles or electro-acupuncture to stimulate acupuncture points on the outer ear. See acupuncture for more information.
